The First Shot Has Been Fired!

While team members Briton, Emily, and Alaina  have all played and extremely enjoyed paintball, Stephanie has never fired a paintball marker before. We all decided it was about time so we filled up the gas tank and loaded a hopper up full of paintballs and gave Stephanie the marker to fire her first shots. 

Today consisted of a lot of organizing and of emailing. It was a took a long time but on the bright side we now have a date set for our event, January 18th 2014. We also consolidated our project mission and organized our website. It was nerve wracking sending out these emails, I don't think we've ever been this apprehensive to click the send button! Anyways, it's done now and all we can do is wait.

We worked on our pitch for our project as well, and emailed several contacts and companies (Extreme Pros Paintball, HK Army, Long Beach Paintball Team, and Wounded Warriors) about our event. 

We also called our contact Brynn, who gave us the phone number for a guy who works directly with wounded warriors who can hopefully get us people to interview. 

We've worked for a while, and accomplished a lot. The first shots have been fired, and this project is taking off.
